Call for Proposals
Aim and Scope
Professional Learning Community through Lesson Study for Promoting Student Learning being the main theme, ICLS aims to bring together researchers, information professionals, media specialists, educators, policy makers and all other related parties from around the world to exchange knowledge and experience and discuss current issues, recent developments, challenges, theories, and good practices.

2.Research on Teaching and Lesson Analysis
3.Curriculum Development, Implementation, and Innovative Uses of Lesson Study
4.Leadership, Management, and Policy Making for Lesson Study
5.Developing Professional Learning Communities in School
6.Special Needs and Inclusive Education
7.Innovative Use of Lesson Study
Types of Sessions
Each presenter has only one choice of presentation, namely Paper Presentations.
Paper Presentations (60 Minutes)
In this session, presenters deliver their complete or preliminary research papers or case studies. Each presentation stands for 20 minutes: 10 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for questions and answers. Overall, each parallel session of the Paper Presentations will have 60-minute in length that consists of three presentations. In each session, one of the presenters acts as the Chairperson.
Here are some suggested categories of papers to be submitted to the type of this presentation:
1. Research Papers
The results of both scientific and practical inquiries examined by researchers and practitioners that are relevant to the twenty (20) themes of the 8th ICLS 2017 are welcomed. Researchers and inquirers may share their studies which apply the various methodologies including experimental research (quantitative), descriptive-qualitative (interpretative) and action research.
2. Student Research Papers
We encourage students, from undergraduate to graduate students, to present their works in the forms of thesis and dissertation as well as other forms of students’ research relevant to the twenty (20) themes of the 8th ICLS 2017.
3. Case Study and Narrative of Experience
The case studies, including narrative of experience related to teaching and learning, professional learning and school improvement that represent to the twenty (20) themes of the 8th ICLS 2017 are welcomed.
4. Research Proposals and Preliminary Reports
We welcome researchers who wish to present their research proposals and interim reports related to the twenty (20) themes of the 8th ICLS 2017 intended to obtain feedback for furthering comprehensive analysis and reporting.
Language of Presentations
Language used in the 8th ICLS 2017 is Bahasa and English language. For the presentation in English, especially the keynote speakers’ presentation, the committee will provide an interpreter.

By having an account you will have a personal page to submit your abstracts, ICLS registration payment and verify information on the 8th ICLS 2017 which is connected to your e-mail address.
Note: The contents of each abstract should not exceed 200 words, accompanied by a maximum of five keywords.
The 8th ICLS 2017 Registration
Once your abstract is accepted, we encourage you to make payments for the 8th ICLS 2017. Early Bird Registration opens 01 February and closes 10 August 2017
Payment of regular registration for the 8th ICLS 2017 participation closes on 20 August 2017.

Indonesian Association of Lesson Study (IALS) Membership Registration
If you are unable to attend the 8th ICLS 2017 but would like to join the IALS as a member, you can fill out a membership form here. As a member of IALS, you will receive access to papers and other information related to both ICLS and IALS. Your membership is valid for one year and you can renew it in the following year.
